Winners
On 24th March 2009, Adler's board of directors announced the ten designs that will each receive 500.- US$ and a diploma.
These ten projects will be included in the Adler Jewellery Design Award catalogue.

Finalists
Among the ten selected works, three participated in the final; one project for each stone. These three designs have been produced by Adler, under the supervision of Leylâ Adler. All three designs will also be showcased in the adler jewellery design award catalogue.

Award
On 12th June 2009, the winner of the Adler Jewellery Design Award was announced in Geneva, and was granted a 10,000 US$ prize. To see her design, click here.

A distinguished jury of professionals

The jury of the Adler Jewellery Design Award is composed of distinguished jewellery professionals and connoisseurs.

 

François Curiel is a member of the Executive Board of Christie's Group and Chairman of Christie's Europe. An international expert in joaillerie, respected auctioneer, and recipient of the highest awards, Curiel has made Christie's the leader in the auction market.

 

 

 

 

Fabienne-Xavière Sturm is curator emeritus at the Geneva Museum of Watchmaking and Enameling Art. She is a former deputy curator in applied arts at the Museum of Art and History in Geneva, where she oversaw collections of watches, enameling art, fabrics, costumes, silver, and glass. Her most recent exhibit, "20th-century Swiss Jewels" (2002) traveled to various museums in Switzerland.

 

 

 

 

Didier Brodbeck is a consultant for the luxury goods industry, especially watchmaking and jewelry. He is the author of numerous books on watches, pearls, diamonds, and counterfeited goods. In 1997, he founded "A World of Dreams", the first French magazine dedicated to watches and jewels, which now has a Russian and a Chinese edition.

 

 

 

 

Nadine de Rothschild is a popular author and co-founder of the Edmond and Nadine de Rothschild Foundation in the fields of medicine and education. A well-known businesswoman, philanthropist and supporter of charities, the Baroness Nadine de Rothschild is also the author of several books about savoir-vivre and the creator of the Académie Nadine de Rothschild - International Way of Life SA.

 

 

 


 

Carole Guinard is a jewellery designer and founder of the NØ gallery in Lausanne, Switzerland. For about ten years, she has worked as a scenographer at MUDAC, where she is also in charge of the contemporary jewellery collection and a curator. Among others, she curated the exhibit "De main à main" ("From hand to hand"); this exhibit of selected jewels from European designers explored the relationship between teachers and students, and how knowledge is transmitted.

Admire the finalists' creations

The jewels designed by the three finalists and produced by Adler will be exhibited in the exclusive Adler boutiques in Geneva, London, Hong-Kong and Gstaad.
